​Shakespeare and His World

Step into the fascinating world of William Shakespeare with this enriching course designed for students in Grades 7 to 9. "Shakespeare and His World" introduces young learners to the life, works, and lasting impact of one of history’s most influential playwrights. Through engaging activities, students will explore a selection of Shakespeare’s plays, unraveling their themes, language, and characters.

Students will gain an understanding of Elizabethan England, the cultural context in which Shakespeare wrote, and how his work continues to shape literature today. The course will also demystify Shakespeare’s language, making his timeless stories accessible and enjoyable. Activities include reading and performing key scenes, examining the use of literary devices, and discussing the universal themes that resonate across centuries.
